On June 12, 2014, NAMSA was awarded full accreditation to our preclinical research facility in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota from the Association for the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC).

AAALAC is an internationally recognized, non-profit organization that promotes the human care and use of animals in research. This certification embodies NAMSA’s commitment to providing the highest level of care, and its dedication to the 3Rs (Reduction, Refinement, Replacement) and the advancement of in vitro alternatives. AAALAC accreditation confirms our ability to provide superior service in all of our facilities to our clients in a highly-compliant environment.

“We are pleased to receive full approval and the highest accreditation from AAALAC International with no suggestions for improvement,” said Gina Skolmowski, Division President, Laboratory Services, NAMSA. “AAALAC accreditation comes as a result of our efforts to improve our global service capabilities, operational infrastructure and demonstrates NAMSA’s global commitment to quality, scientific validity and responsible research in all of our facilities.”
