The Ohio campus expanded in 2003 with a new toxicology laboratory and corporate administration building.
All buildings at the Ohio campus, including laboratories, toxicology facilities, and offices are connected to improve communications. Secured entry and restricted access to the facility ensures safety and confidentiality for our clients and the staff. The NAMSA campus is designed for future expansion.
The new toxicology laboratory is 45,000 square feet and features seamless epoxy floors and walls throughout, sound control management, and dedicated receiving and storage areas. The functional design promotes directional flow to enhance sanitation and efficiency.
Technician and records stations within the research facilities provide access to standard operating procedures and regulatory updates.
Test sample preparation is performed in our technician laboratories. We offer ample space to support the services our trained technicians provide.
Scintillation counter for radioactive materials provides additional testing options for NAMSA clients. We offer Local Lymph Node Assay and this capability enables us to offer other tests utilizing radioactive materials.
Our state-of-the art, Reverse Osmosis Watering system features:
NAMSA's Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system includes 3 chillers/air handling units with redundant capacity and computerized control and monitoring. This system provides 100% outside air supply with a minimum of 13 air changes per hour.
Two 175-horse power fire tube boilers with stack economizers provide heating, Relative Humidity and process steam. The HVAC, water, and electrical systems are designed to accommodate future facilities expansion.
Engineered fail-safes include redundant chilling/heating water pumps and facility backup generators. A modern, automated facility support system provides 24-hour monitoring and control as well as automatic notification of specification deviation.
A wide range of surgical-based studies are offered at NAMSA. These include both functional (R & D) and local response (non-functional) type studies with a broad range of in vivo models. NAMSA surgeons have experience with many standard models and will custom design a model to the requirements of a specific device.
