Performs engineering and/or metrology assignments involving equipment or product design, preparation of specifications, process studies, or research investigations. Provides corporate engineering support for all applicable business units. Assists with training of Associates in new and existing equipment and processes. Supports administration of corporate engineering systems (e.g., equipment monitoring systems; equipment management systems, etc.). May manage/direct metrology assignments performed by outside vendors. Drafts all pertinent equipment documents, including but not limited to: user requirement specifications, systems qualifications and protocols, equipment operating procedures, SOP’s and validation reports. Will interact with clients, vendors and regulatory agencies as required.
Education
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience
Requires a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience. Microsoft Word and Excel experience required. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Previous regulatory experience strongly preferred (i.e., FDA, AAMI, ISO, etc).
