Working with the Department Assistant Manager, this position is primarily responsible for leading the performance of routine and special/non-routine microbiology testing activities including, but not limited to: Pharmacopeial Sterility Tests, Growth Promotion, Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden Tests, Test Method Development and Validation Studies. Accurately records raw data in logbooks and on worksheets. Analyzes data, calculates and interprets results. Routes all positive results or unusual testing occurrences to the Assistant Manager.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Biology.
Experience
Minimum 6 to 8 years related laboratory experience. Registered Microbiologist preferred.
Requirements
Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with scientific applications, experimental design, data evaluation, project management, technical writing. Possess highly organized verbal and written communication skills. Possess working knowledge of applicable standards, guidelines and regulations.
